Blue Skies

We always paint the sky blue,
Because we're told so
and we look up and see a blue sky.
But then, one of us uses another colour,
Purple, pink, red, orange and yellow.
We saw what was before us,
While they felt it.

 

They broke the rules,
And let the colours flow.
That is how masterpieces are born.
No, they are created,
By broken souls and yearning hearts.
