Daughters of Pleione

shining jewels of the dream winter sky
the seven times seven times seven sisters
luminous nymphs
Maia, Electra, Taygete, Alcyone,
Celaeno, Sterope, and Merope
each giving birth to seven daughters
bright sparks of the gods
and so again each seven more
We do not know all their names yet
You will have to help me name them
Four hundred, counting their great grandmother
Four hundred could change a heart
or a continent
navigate a crossing
guard a land against the darkness
